Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Full-time Position | Interior of British Columbia | $90,000 annual salary + benefits + mentorship

Are you looking for meaningful work that lets you grow as a speech-language pathologist—

while making a real difference in the lives of children, families, and communities?

Join Flourish, a growing Kamloops-based practice providing high-quality, in-person speech-

language services to schools and early childhood programs in small communities across the

Interior of BC.

What This Role Offers

At Flourish, you’ll experience the best of both worlds: the autonomy and flexibility of private

practice, with the support and connection of a collaborative team.

You’ll be supported through ongoing coaching and mentorship that continues as you grow in

your role. We stay connected through regular check-ins and shared problem-solving, so even

when you’re working independently in schools, you won’t feel like you’re doing it alone.

Our work is grounded in strong relationships with families, educators, and communities, with a

focus on providing services that are responsive, respectful, and meaningful. You’ll be

supported by well-developed systems, up-to-date tools and technologies, and a continually

evolving library of resources that help you deliver high-quality, effective services.

This role offers the opportunity to practice in a way that is flexible, relationship-based, and

responsive to each school and community—moving beyond rigid service models to focus on

what truly supports students and teams.

Who We Are

We’re a team of passionate therapists with experience working alongside First Nations schools

and community programs. Our work is rooted in collaboration and a commitment to building

local capacity so that support continues beyond our visits.

We use innovative tools and well-developed systems to deliver effective support in rural and

remote settings. Our therapy models are designed to align with the values and needs of the

communities we serve. We ground our work in current best practices and collaborate with

partners to ensure our services are culturally safe and responsive.

  • The independence and flexibility of private practice—with the support of an experienced, connected team
  • Access to high-quality materials, resources, and professional guidance
  • Ongoing opportunities for professional development
  • A strong sense of purpose and connection through community-based work
